I donated a gift certificate for a cake at a fundraiser at my son's preschool. This Elmo cake was the design for the person with the highest bid!

I love making cakes for kids, this one was for the baby boy of a goood friend.

Fathers Day beer cake :-)

Everything is edible except the labels and caps. The bottles and ice are made from cooked isomalt. It was fun to make and I'm happy with the results :)

We had a great week with some fun new cakes and cupcakes.  The monkey cake was for a party at the fun- new Silly Monkey's Playhouse in Coconut Grove! If you haven't been to Silly Monkeys, you should!!

The Cookie Monster Surprise cake finished in the top 10 out of more than 1000 cakes in the Ace of Cakes "Show Your Duff" cake design contest sponsored by Party City! We actually finished round one of the public voting in FIRST PLACE!! and moved on to round two. We didn't win the grand prize, but we did win a $100 gift card and have some pretty cool Duff bakeware coming in the mail! Again, thank you for all of your votes and support!
